The RTS C is a purpose-designed center channel loudspeaker for use in a complete built-in home theater system. Mix and match the RTS C with Polk's RTS105 and RTS100 THX Ultra2 certified built-in speakers and Polk's CSW built-in subwoofers and you'll have a home theater audio system that exceeds the performance of most free-standing speaker systems while remaining virtually undetectable.

Like the other models in the RTS Built-in Series, the RTS C is engineered for predictably superior home theater performance. The RTS C features technologies used in Polk's critically acclaimed LSi Series of freestanding speakers to deliver the sound quality of stand-alone models. Just as important, installation is easy, and who doesn’t love the sound of that?

RTS C Features:

• Rigid MDF Performance Enclosure – The RTS C comes with a separate performance enclosure, which helps ensure predictable high performance as it maximizes sound isolation with adjacent rooms. The enclosure is necessary for the speaker to perform to THX Ultra2 standards.

• Audiophile Grade Drivers and Tweeters
• Aerated Polypropylene Dynamic Balance™ Cones posses an ideal balance of stiffness, damping and low mass for superb clarity, detail and high efficiency.
• RTS C has a horizontal orientation—a form factor preferred by customers and custom integrators.
• Cascade Tapered Array-- employs two 5-1/4” APP cone drivers. One driver plays only bass frequencies, the other bass and midrange, for broad, even sound coverage for off-axis listeners.
• Two grilles—One cloth grille for maximum sonic performance, one aluminum mesh for a more traditional appearance.
• Tweeter Attenuation Switche engages a pass-band filter to compensate for overly reflective rooms, decreasing unwanted glare and harshness without decreasing the high-end frequencies.
• Ring Radiator tweeter—The ring radiator design, found in $35,000 free-standing speakers, delivers smooth high frequency extension with excellent clarity and detail.
