PSB Synchrony Two (pair) Black $2,450.00
by Howard Burkle Date Added: Thursday 28 February, 2008
All I can say WOW purchased the synchrony 2 floor speakers with the synchrony 2 center also a set of CW260 in the wall surround (due to their location) and to finish it off added a PSB Subseries 8 sub. I spent 2 – 3 months looking and testing to speakers before buying the PSB's. Hooked the speakers up to my Dennon AVR4802. I was a little worried about the 4 ohm speakers but the 4802 has no problem powering them. The room is 21’ X 21’ the sub crossover is set at 60 cycles and the power is set at about 55%. I hear sounds in music that I never heard before, the music is clear and powerful even with the sub turned off you can actually feel the music (I play music in stereo or pure direct mode). Put in a movie on the speakers just blow me away. If you can find a dealer that has these speakers on display it is worth a drive to test drive them. You will need a hi-current amp to power the speakers the old Dennon 4802 has 125 watt X 7 @ 8 ohms, Dynamic power is 270 watt @ 4 ohms 2 channel.
