I just bought 4 day ago Arcam cd37 24bit machine and I am stun on how much detail into digital format it was . very common to have cd player that is flat and not much musical feel to it but this one acts like old school analog player very good.

syngeristic research refernce xlr cable,alpha sterling w/sheilding.
playing cd's for 3days of different style of music was my experiment. it passed with very good rating.I might be old school analog and don't think of digital much but his machine sound more in my realm than my NAD 521a cd player would. an WOW what a step.
up. I was going to try a separate unit transport with external DAC but my budget owuld let me right now.
